Eco Church

We believe that caring for God's creation is part of our calling as Christians. Across our circuit, our churches are working towards Eco Church awards, taking practical steps to reduce our environmental impact and to encourage our communities to do the same.

What we are doing

• Reducing energy use in our church buildings
• Encouraging wildlife friendly churchyards and green spaces
• Supporting local and global environmental campaigns
• Teaching and worship that reflects care for creation
• Encouraging members to make more sustainable choices at home
